Good golly, there are a lot of games that didn't make my list this year that absolutely deserve to. 2023 has had more blockbuster AAA titles dropped on it than any other year in the history of video games. Looking back at my list from 2022, indie developers were having a banner year, and while that trend has continued, I'm glad to see the big studios catching up and dumping all that money into stellar products.
